Welcome to KentOils.com. By using this site, you agree to the following terms. If legal language puts you to sleep, here's the plain English version: don't copy our stuff, don't blame us if your epoxy doesn't stick, and use common sense.

1. What This Site Is (And Isn't)

KentOils.com provides information and opinions about garage floor coatings. That's it. We're not licensed contractors, chemical engineers, or flooring professionals. We're an enthusiast site sharing research, experience, and opinions.

Our content is for informational purposes only. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions on any product you buy. If the label says one thing and we say another... follow the label.

2. No Guarantees

We do our best to provide accurate, up-to-date information. But we can't guarantee that every detail on this site is perfect at all times. Product formulations change. Prices change. What worked on our concrete might not work on yours.

Results depend on your specific floor condition, prep work, temperature, humidity, and about a dozen other variables. We give you the best advice we can, but your garage floor is your responsibility.

3. Affiliate Links and Advertising

This site contains affiliate links and displays advertising. See our full Affiliate Disclosure for details. The presence of ads or affiliate links does not mean we endorse every product advertised on this site. Google chooses which ads to show... we don't.

4. Product Recommendations

Our product recommendations are opinions based on research and, where possible, hands-on experience. We are not responsible for product defects, changes in formulation, or results that differ from what we describe. Always check the latest product reviews and specs before purchasing.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on KentOils.com... articles, reviews, guides, calculator designs, and original images... is our intellectual property. You're welcome to share links to our pages. You're welcome to quote a sentence or two with attribution. You are not welcome to copy entire articles and paste them on your own site. That's not cool, and we will notice.

6. User Conduct

If we add comments or a contact form in the future, we expect basic decency. No spam. No hate speech. No dropping links to your own competing site in our comments (nice try, though). We reserve the right to remove any content that's spammy, abusive, or just plain weird.

7. Limitation of Liability

KentOils.com and its owner are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of this site or any products recommended on it. This includes (but isn't limited to) epoxy that peels, floors that look patchy, or arguments with your spouse about whether the garage really needed a metallic finish.

If you follow our advice and something goes wrong, we genuinely feel bad about it. But legally, you used the information at your own risk.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll update the date below. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable US law.
